LAWYERS firm EAD Solicitors donated gifts and clothes to deserving charities through its annual shoebox appeal.
Many staff at the firm donated or collected money to buy gifts, items of clothing and food throughout December.
They were handed over to the Warnerville Children’s Home, the Whitechapel Centre for the Homeless and the Speke Garston Domestic Violence Project, earlier this week.
EAD’s business development manager, Michaela Hickson, said: “This is the second year that the firm has run this shoebox appeal and once again, members of staff were really generous. It was heart-warming to see just how much the gifts were appreciated by all the charities we visited.
“We have had a tremendous year in terms of fundraising for worthy local charities, so we’re glad we were able to finish the year with such a great initiative.”
