A MERSEYSIDE MP is going back to school.
Angela Eagle, who is MP for Wallasey, is due to visit Castleway Primary School, in Leasowe, on January 15, to see how it is using National Literacy Trust programmes to boost reading and writing.
Her tour forms part of the Trust’s forthcoming “Vote for Literacy” campaign which urges the public to apply pressure on political parties and individual MPs to adopt effective literacy policies in the up-coming General Election.
