Later opening for new Liverpool academy

A KEY £18m academy, to revitalise education in part of Liverpool, will only get a new building three years after opening.

However, the all-boys’ academy will open a year earlier than planned, in January 2011, using the Croxteth site of De La Salle.

It is a £25m investment in the Croxteth /Norris Green area as part of the Government-funded Building Schools For the Future.
