A COUNSELLING service for problem gamblers is to extend its help into Cheshire from later this month.
GamCare’s partner, Community Integrated Care (CIC), already delivers GamCare counselling in Liverpool, Halton, Sefton and St Helens.
GamCare CEO Andy McLellan said: “GamCare already enjoys a very successful partnership with CIC, and I’m particularly pleased at this latest development.
“GamCare’s national telephone and online helplines, and our online self-help forum, are there for anyone concerned about their own or a family member’s gambling, but sometimes face-to-face counselling is what’s needed.
“I am delighted we are now able to provide the service in Cheshire, where there has been no local provision before.
