Liverpool-based law firm Hill Dickinson has revealed how it plans to celebrate its 200th year in business

1810 – Edward Morrall founds the Liverpool legal practice.

1865 – The firm’s identity as “Hill Dickson” begins when John Edward Gray Hill joins.

1912 – Hill Dickinson is retained by the owners of RMS Titanic after it sank.

1927 – Miss Edith Berthen joins the firm as one of the first women in Britain to qualify as a solicitor.

1940 – The firm’s partners lead the fire watching, following the outbreak of World War II.

2006 – Hill Dickinson is one of the first law firms to achieve carbon zero status.

2010 – Hill Dickson celebrates 200 years.
