MORE than 300 people are to take part in what is believed to be Merseyside’s biggest “pub quiz” to raise money for Wirral Autistic Society.
The Big Quiz will take place at Wallasey Town Hall on Friday, March 19, and although the majority of the teams will come from pubs the event is also open to businesses and organisations.
Peter Kenrick, one of Merseyside’s leading quiz masters, will be putting questions to the teams.
He and his partner Julie Ellsmore have already raised around £17,000 over the past two years for Wirral Autistic Society’s Home from Home appeal – about £10,000 of this from quizzes.
