A NURSE appeared in court yesterday accused of killing his wife.
Brent Mott, 31, from Southport, is charged with the murder of his wife Kate, 35, who was also a nurse. Her body was found last Thursday in the driver’s seat of the couple’s Ford Focus, after it had been involved in a collision on a country lane in Scarisbrick. A post mortem showed she had been strangled.
Mott, of Everard Road, Southport, was remanded in custody to appear before Liverpool Crown Court on February 9.
