Eco-activities in Wirral parks

ROYDEN Park is a hive of eco-activity this weekend. Saturday sees a special workshop entitled Rock, Soils and Vegetation.

Join the rangers and discover some aspects of the historic park's geology and plants that grow on its soils.

There’s no need to book, but it’s not suitable for young children.

The walk runs from 1.30 - 3.30pm. Meet by the Walled Garden at 1.20pm.

On Sunday, there’s a winter birdwatch.

Enjoy a morning watching their resident birds and meeting like-minded twitchers.

Again, there’s no need to book, but please don’t bring dogs.

Meet at the Rangers Office. The event runs from 10am to 12 noon. For further enquiries, call 0151-677-7594 or email midwirralrangers@wirral.gov.uk
