Knowsley man's MBE for helping young

DEDICATION to helping young people find their vocation has earned a Merseyside man recognition from the Queen, in a ceremony at Buckingham Palace.

Michael Fielding, 43, better known as Tosh, was awarded an MBE for his work with young people in Knowsley.

Mr Fielding is an advisor with Knowsley Works, Knowsley Council’s agency to help the long-term unemployed back into work. He has helped hundreds of people find work and set them on the road to successful careers.

He said: “I feel humbled by this, but don’t really know what I have done to deserve it.

“I have gained so much more from the work I have done than I have given to others.”
