LDP Legal: Lawyer returns to Liverpool to take the reins of city’s DWF office

LIVERPOOL-FOUNDED law firm DWF has appointed Andy Green to the new role of executive partner at its Liverpool office.

Real estate specialist Mr Green will be responsible for leading the team in Liverpool and co-ordinating its operational and business development activities.

It marks a return to the city for Mr Green, who spent 21 years at the Liverpool office before transferring to Manchester to head the firm’s real estate practice.

He has advised on many high-profile regeneration and development projects in Liverpool and is currently working on Project Jennifer, the £150m regeneration of Great Homer Street.

He said: “I am particularly pleased to be taking over as head of DWF’s operations in Liverpool, where the firm was first founded over 30 years ago.

“Although it has since expanded to encompass locations throughout the country, DWF continues to play an integral part in Liverpool’s business community.

“Our investment in new offices in St Paul’s Square last year underlines our commitment to the city.”

DWF managing partner Andrew Leaitherland said: “He will be the face of DWF in the city, leading not only our business activities but also our charity work and helping champion DWF’s values.”
