Cheshire county warns on wreaths removal

CHRISTMAS wreaths in Cheshire cemeteries will be removed later this month.

They will be taken away as part of the ongoing maintenance of the cemeteries managed by Cheshire West and Chester Council.

Grave owners and visitors who want to keep their wreaths are being advised by the council to retrieve them before February 22.

Wreaths will be removed from the grounds of Chester Crematorium, Blacon Cemetery, Overleigh Cemetery in Handbridge, Overpool Cemetery in Ellesmere Port, Neston Cemetery, and Wharton Cemetery, Winsford.
