ONE of Wirral’s major roads will be closed to allow works on the final stages of a roundabout.
The closure affects theA540 Telegraph Road in west Wirral from its junction with Pikes Hey Road to the junction with Church Lane.
The closure will be in place from 7pm on February 19 until 6am on February 22.
It may be necessary to close the road again the following weekend, from 7pm on February 26 to 6am on March 1.
Traffic travelling north will be diverted via Pensby Road, Irby Road, Manor Road, Mill Hill Road, Hill Bark Road and Montgomery Hill. Traffic travelling southbound will be diverted via Montgomery Hill, Hill Bark Road, Mill Hill Road, Thingwall Road, Irby Road and Pensby Road.
