Liverpool ACC contributed £200m to economy in first year.

IT IS estimated the Echo Arena and BT Convention Centre contributed £200m to Liverpool’s economy in its first year in 2008.

The venue saw 700,000 people pass through its doors in the first 12 months alone.

The waterfront arena had 200 days of activity during the year.

The BT Convention Centre cites its “flexible” facilities for making it a unique conference setting. The main auditorium seats 1,350 delegates and is the only venue in England to have seating drums which revolve and can be divided into three separate spaces.
