CCTV of gang trying to break into Royal Birkdale 300
The first burglar is 5ft 11in to 6ft, well built, about 15 stone, in his late thirties to forty with what appears a shaved head or short cropped, light brown/blond or slightly sandy coloured hair.
His face is described as round with a reddish complexion.ŠHe is always seen wearing a golf cap, with little or no hair on view beneath the base of the cap. He has distinctive ears in that they appear small and stick out.
They appear to be slightly swollen, similar in appearance to “cauliflower” ears common in rugby or wrestling.
In one offence at Workington, one of the thieves was spoken to and although the description given was slightly different in height, the witness described this offender, who had no headwear, as having ginger spiky hair, which was slightly feathery at the back.
He appeared to have a couple of days’ growth of stubble which also appeared ginger in colour.ŠHe was described as having a “Scouse” accent.
The second burglar is slightly younger, 35 to 40 years, slimmer, with slightly longer and darker hair. He is about 5ft 11in to 6ft tall and around 12 stone.
