Sir Paul McCartney flies in to see Stella McCartney’s show

IT’S always nice to get a little support from dad.

Particularly when he’s a man who is no stranger to a little success in life.

Fashion designer Stella McCartney was delighted when her former Beatle father watched the unveiling of her new collection.

Sir Paul flew to Paris to see the launch of talented Stella’s autumn and winter designs for 2010/2011.

The pair posed for the press after Stella presented the new range of her ready-to-wear designs in the French capital.

A proud Sir Paul was accompanied by his friend, Nancy Shevell.

Pretty brunette Nancy dressed down in a bright blue top and jeans, while Sir Paul was altogether smarter in his grey suit and lilac striped shirt.

The pair sat on the front row with another of Sir Paul’s daughters, Mary.

British actress Thandie Newton and singer Beth Ditto also attended.
