A TOUCH of Disneyland came to Liverpool’s Albert Dock with the launch of a treasure hunt.

It was to mark the show Disney Live! Three Classic Fairy Tales, which is being staged at the Liverpool Echo Arena later this month – and for which a family ticket is up for grabs.

The treasure hunt involves finding the Disney Princess characters from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast.

They are hidden in Albert Dock’s shops, restaurants and attractions.

Jeremy Roberts, chairman of the Albert Dock Tenants’ Business Association, said: “Whenever there is a Disney show at the arena, Albert Dock is alive with children dressed in every Disney Princess and Pirate costume, so we thought we would sprinkle a little bit of Disney magic to our tourist attraction.

“We have partnered with the Echo Arena to provide one lucky family with the chance to win tickets to the show.

“The dock represents a great day out if you are seeing a show and we want to ensure that the kids are entertained while you are here.”

The treasure hunt continues until Sunday, with a free entry form and map available from the Tourist Information Centre in Anchor Courtyard.
