THE annual Aintree style contest was officially launched with judge Sheree Murphy handing out fashion tips.
The actress and mother-of-three, who is married to footballer Harry Kewell, was joined by Cricket boutique owner Justine Mills, international fashion designer Jeff Banks and celebrity hair stylist Zak Coldicutt for the launch event at Matalan’s store, in Wavertree.
Scouts will select the trendiest people throughout day one and two to enter the Style 2010 competition, with Liverpool Style ambassador Coleen Rooney announcing the overall winner on Saturday, ahead of the prestigious Grand National race.
Sheree, 34, who annually attends the John Smith's Grand National meeting, said: “I love the National. For me, it’s the highlight of the event calendar and judging is so much fun.
“I always look forward to buying my Aintree outfit and will be hitting the shops next week to get it.
“My big style tip for the competition is to avoid fascinators and go for something more traditional, like a hat.”
