Actors put on improvised performance in Liverpool for 33-and-a-half hours

ACTORS performed an improvised stage show non-stop for 33½ hours without any lines.

The production, put on by Impropriety, saw 35 performers acting impromptu without any rehearsal or script.

Held at the Kazimier in Wolstenholme Square it ran from 1pm on Saturday to 10.30pm last night.

Entitled The Last Resort, the show was set in a Holiday Camp in the 1950s, similar to the one in the TV comedy Hi-de-Hi!

The whole performance was split into 17 two-hour sessions.

Each time a segment started, the characters introduced themselves and talked the audience through the story so far.

Trevor Fleming, co-founder of the Liverpool- based company, described it as much a “philosophical experience” as a “theatrical experience” and said even the songs were improvised.
