AN ELEGANT Liverpool boutique hotel triumphed at this year’s Northern Hospitality Awards.
The Hope Street Hotel, in Liverpool city centre, brought home the Best Hotel trophy.
The awards recognised the efforts of those within the catering and hospitality industries in the north who have contributed to its success.
Mary Colston, creative director of Hope Street Hotel, said: “This is a wonderful achievement for the hotel and it is also great to receive this level of recognition from our peers in the industry.”
More than 250 guests from restaurants, bars, pubs and hotels from across the North West, Yorkshire and the North East, gathered at the Hilton Hotel, in Deansgate, Manchester, for the ceremony.
The 5th Northern Hospitality Awards were compered by the acclaimed food and drink journalist Nigel Barden who presented the nine winners with their prizes.
Other restaurants and hotels from Liverpool which were shortlisted included the Noble House.
The swanky new eaterie, on Brunswick Street, Liverpool city centre, was nominated in the best newcomer and the best wine offering categories.
