THE mother of John Paul Massey supported her brother as he appeared in court charged over the pitbull-type dog that killed her son.
Army recruit Christian Foulkes stood in the dock at the city’s magistrates court yesterday on charges relating to his dog, Uno, which killed his four-year-old nephew John Paul last November.
He walked into court with John Paul’s mother, Angela McGlynn, 39, by his side.
Foulkes, 22, spoke to confirm his name, date of birth and address as Ash Grove, Wavertree.
The father-of-one is charged with two counts of possessing a dangerous dog, one court of breeding a dangerous dog and another of giving a dangerous dog as a gift. District Judge Miriam Shelvey agreed to put the case off until May 11. Foulkes was given unconditional bail.
