Merseyside girl Stephanie Davis is the fifth Dorothy to be eliminated

STEPHANIE DAVIS said she was “gutted” after becoming the fifth Dorothy to be eliminated from the hunt for a West End star.

The 17-year-old from Prescot found herself in the sing-off with Steph Fearon after they received the fewest votes from the public in BBC1’s Over The Rainbow. The two competitors attempted to stay in by singing Tell Me On A Sunday, prompting Andrew Lloyd Webber to use his casting vote to save Steph, 21.

He said: “I know what both of you can do – you’re both extraordinarily talented. I don’t think this is the right pair.”

Stephanie said: “I’m gutted. But I’ve loved every minute of it. ”
