Wallace and Gromit wear wring trousers at Liverpool’s Alder Hey Hospital
ANIMATED favourites Wallace and Gromit took a visit to Alder Hey yesterday.
The duo came to raise awareness for Wrong Trousers Day on Friday, June 25, in aid of their children’s foundation, which will encourage people to donate a pound and wear pyjamas for the day.
The Oscar winners also handed a £5,000 cheque to the hospital's charity, the Imagine Appeal. It was raised during last year’s Wrong Trousers Day and went towards a programme of play and art therapy.
Chris Done, at the Imagine Appeal, said: “Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Foundation has helped us to provide those extra things that make a real difference to the quality of life for some of the 250,000 young patients we see each year.”
