MOVIE-GOERS in Liverpool were among the first in the world to watch the highly anticipated Sex And The City sequel.
Restaurant and bar Alma de Cuba invited 186 guests to the secret screening at the Odeon cinema in Liverpool One last night. Guests were asked to arrive 45 minutes before the start of the movie to allow for strict security checks.
The showing was followed by an exclusive party at Alma de Cuba, in Seel Street.
It came just one day after the world premiere in New York, which was attended by Liverpool actress Kim Cattrall and co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis.
Fashionistas were offered cocktails on arrival and waiters served canapés during the evening, while a DJ played music from the hit television series and clips from the series were shown on screens.
