KYLIE MINOGUE has laughed off reports that her glowing complexion is down to a £4 jar of face cream – saying it takes a lot more work to look as good as she does.
Sales of Pond’s Cold Cream soared by 120% after it was said that the Can’t Get You Out Of My Head star uses the traditional beauty product every day, on the advice of her mother. But Kylie, 42, who is dating model Andres Velencoso, admitted that her youthful complexion was the result of a far more elaborate beauty regime.
Asked about the reports that her stunning looks were thanks to Pond’s, Kylie laughed: “Oh God, that’s just so funny. I wish I really was such a low-maintenance girl. I’m not.
“I do use Pond’s, but I use plenty of other products as well. I love beauty products,” she confessed to Grazia magazine. “My real skin secret is I always use all-over body make-up. When you hit 40, you need a little more help.”
