CYCLE Chester wants people to get on their bike this summer and is providing a range of events to press home the message.
Street performances from top mountain biker Andrei Burton, one-man band Solo Circus, the M.A.D BMX stunt team and Big Top Mania Crazy Cycle Circus are lined up.
Local businesses will also be encouraged to get involved by taking part in the corporate challenge.
Cllr Richard Short, executive member for culture and recreation, said: “Cycling is great fun, brings people together in the outdoors and most importantly is a fantastic way to keep fit.”
