Memorial unveiled to murdered Liverpool army cadet Joseph Lappin
A MEMORIAL to murdered Liverpool army cadet Joseph Lappin has been unveiled.
More than 50 people attended the event outside the Shrewsbury House youth club at St Peter's Church, in Everton, on Saturday, where the 16-year-old was stabbed in the heart after watching his friends’ band practice, in October 2008.
Vicar of St Peter's Church, the Rev Henry Corbett, led the tributes to the Old Swan army cadet, whose promising young life, he said, had been tragically cut short.
Joseph’s mother, Toni ,attended the naming of a music room and unveiling of a memorial stone dedicated to her son, whom she said “lived life to the full.”
