PASSENGERS using Easyjet airline at John Lennon Airport faced disruption to their holidays as flights were cancelled.
A scheduled 12.45pm plane to Malaga was pulled on Saturday and five flights to Barcelona, Malaga, Nice, Belfast and Alicante were cancelled yesterday.
Easyjet said it had been unable to secure slot times from air traffic control. It said that any customers affected would be offered transfers or a refund.
