DOG owners have the opportunity to make sure their pets are in peak condition at roadshows in Liverpool.
Experts will be at the events to give dogs a health check, looking at issues like obesity and dental diseases.
Free micro-chipping will also be available so owners can be reunited with their pet if they lose them.
Cllr Tim Moore, Liverpool Council’s cabinet member for the environment, said: “These roadshows have taken place for a number of years now and they have proved to be very popular.
“Dog owners want to make sure their pets are fit and healthy and I would encourage them to visit the roadshows.”
The roadshow will be in Wavertree Park, on Saturday, August 7, in Anfield’s Stanley Park on Sunday, August 8, and in Croxteth Park on Thursday, August 12.
Events will also be held in Calderstones Park on Saturday, August 14, and Clubmoor Community Centre, in Townsend Lane, on Sunday, August 15.
Micro-chipping, health checks, advice on neutering and responsible dog ownership will be available each day between 10am and 4.30pm.
