A MAN burst into Ladbrokes in Wallasey and jumped over the counter to steal money.
The robbery happened while two customers were in the shop, on Wallasey Road, at around 5.15pm yesterday.
It is thought that the suspect may have had a knife.
Police were called by a woman working in the shop, after the man, who is thought to be about 20, fled the scene on foot in the direction of Wilkinsons. A police spokesman said: “No one was threatened or injured by the man.
“He is described as white, 6ft, of a slim build and was wearing a grey hooded top, tight jeans and trainers.”
