A GALLON walk, taking in eight Wirral pubs, is aiming to raise money for a local charity.
Organised by West Kirby Chamber of Commerce in aid of the Hoylake Cottage Day Care Appeal, the walk will stop at some of the area’s most popular bars and hotels.
The event takes place on Sunday, September 5, and organisers are asking companies as well as families and individuals to sign up now. The cost is £10 per adult, £5 for under-18s and free entry for under-12s.
The walk starts at 11am with bacon sandwiches at the Green Lodge, then goes on for discounted food and drink at the Red Door; The Collingwood; Moby Dick; the Hilbre; Slinkys; Lattetude and finally The Wro, for live music and a hog roast.
