CRUISE liner the Crown Princess stopped in Liverpool on Saturday during a tour round the British Isles.
The whopping 113,000 ton vessel is the flagship of Princess Cruises, and can carry up to 3,599 passengers and 1,201 crew.
She docked in the Mersey for 11 hours while her passengers disembarked in front of the iconic Three Graces to stretch their sea legs in Liverpool.
Early on Saturday evening, after turning round in the Mersey, she set sail for Belfast and at 8am this morning is due into Greenock, on the west coat of Scotland.
The 12-day cruise costs from £1,110 to £1,956 per person and the ship, which made her maiden voyage in June 2006, is back on August 26.
The only cruise ship in the world with apartments on board was due to dock in Liverpool this morning.
The World, a Norwegian-built luxury liner with properties worth as much as £500,000, will sail into the city’s Cruise Liner Terminal at 9am.
The ship is owned by its residents, who hail from 40 different countries and circumnavigates the globe regularly. She will be in the Mersey until Thursday.
Some residents live aboard the 43,000-tonne vessel full-time, while others visit their floating home periodically throughout the year.
