A MOTORCYCLIST involved in a crash in the Wallasey tunnel was taken to hospital last night.
Tunnel police confirmed a large red motorbike, which was being ridden by a male biker, and a car were involved in the incident.
The crash occurred at approximately 7.30pm yesterday, near the Wirral side of the Kingsway tunnel.
A spokesman for Mersey tunnel police told the Daily Post the crash did not cause any hold- ups or stoppages to tunnel traffic flows.
He said vehicles continued to travel as they would normally.
