LIVERPOOL’S largest regular liner visitor makes her final call of the cruise season today.
Megaliner m/v Crown Princess docked at the cruise terminal at 4.30am.
The 113,000 gross ton Princess Cruises flagship will depart at 9pm this evening.
This is the last of her four summer calls on round Britain cruises, which always sell out the 3,100 passenger liner.
A direct bus will run from Liverpool Cruise Terminal into the city for passengers.
It is sponsored by Albert Dock, Liverpool One shopping centre and the City Central Business Improvement District. The Cruise Liner Courtesy Bus Link is funded by these partners to service Crown Princess’ visits.
The arrival of the big cruise liners is forecast to give the local economy a £1.3bn boost with over 65,000 visitors in 2010.
