Crowds watch MD Productions dancers in Liverpool’s commercial district

CROWDS gathered in Liverpool’s St Paul’s Square for an outdoor dance spectacular in the sun.

Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalists MD Productions performed a series of 1920’s Hollywood dance routines.

Workers and residents browsed market stalls and enjoyed food as Liverpool Commercial District Partnership staged the event yesterday afternoon.

Choreographer Miguel Doforo, who set up MD Productions, said: “We were really delighted to perform in St Paul’s Square.

“It’s a great location and we put together a breathtaking show that transformed people’s lunch hour.”

Paul Rice, chief executive of Liverpool CDP, said: “The square is a symbol of Liverpool’s economic renaissance with around 30,000 people now living and working in the surrounding area.

“Liverpool CDP members came together to support the event to bring the square to life”.
