THE unprecedented changes Liverpool has undergone in the last few years have brought a proliferation of new restaurants all over the city.
It’s fair to say now that Liverpool offers every type of restaurant and cuisine one could think of. People are truly spoilt for choice and this is borne out by the entries in the Good Food Guide.
Thanks to the major regeneration works, the new city centre development was a ripe area for new businesses to flourish, and many restaurant entrepreneurs seized their chance accordingly.
Also, the wave of tourists – and also locals – enjoying the revamped city centre and Dock areas, resulted in a sharp increase in chain-owned eateries purpose-built for the mass market.
Traditionally, the heart of the Liverpool restaurant quarter was always concentrated farther south of the centre, around Bold Street and especially Hope Street – where our restaurant is also set.ŠThe main hub for dining establishments will likely remain where it is.
The most important thing in running a successful restaurant remains using good quality, locally sourced ingredients where possible and offering a warm, friendly welcome, which we strive to do every day.
