A CHILDREN’S TV presenter is bringing wild, wonderful and downright terrifying animals to the city on Sunday.
Steve Backshall, best known for his antics on The Really Wild Show and the BBC’s Lost Land series, is visiting the city to promote new CBBC programme Live ’n’ Deadly.
Williamson Square will be crawling with wildlife between 10am and 4pm as Steve entertains the crowds with interactive performances and a host of amazing creatures.
And over at Liverpool’s World Museum, visitors can get up close to birds of prey, tarantulas, scorpions and Indian Ground Beetles which squirt skin-corroding acid.
The day’s activities will be aired as part of the Live ’n’ Deadly show next Saturday.
Tickets are free but limited to first come first served, so visit the Square’s BBC registration desk to book a place.
