TAXI drivers across Merseyside were encouraged to drive greener vehicles as part of a Taxi Demonstration Day at Aintree Racecourse.
The Merseyside Transport Partnership event showed drivers the financial and environmental advantages of driving a low emission vehicle as well as giving them the opportunity to test drive some of the greenest vehicles in the UK, such as the Electric E7 Taxi.
Drivers were also able to check their fuel-efficiency on a driving simulator.
