THE official aftershow party for last night’s glitzy MOBO awards was shut down three hours early amid scenes of violence and chaos.
Police were called to the Hilton Hotel this morning following reports of persistent brawls at the star-studded bash.
Partygoers described watching bottles and glasses being hurled and blood splattered on the floor and mens’ shirts.
Some witnesses said up to 40 people were seen rushing into the venue at one stage during one missile-throwing exchange.
Six police vans and ambulances were stationed outside The Strand venue as officers roamed around with dogs.
The party, attended by celebrities including Alex Curran, Calum Best and soap stars, was supposed to run until 4am.
But due to the threat of disorder spiralling, the event was closed at 1am, following advice from police.
