Robots help kids draw at Tate Liverpool
TATE Liverpool are hoping to help beat the half-term blues with a robot-themed drawing lab for families.
Sonic Shaper Capers offers children and their parents the chance to draw with the help of robots.
Inspired by the Liverpool Biennial theme, Touched, artist Tony Hall assembled an army of “brush bots” to empower all the people who love to draw but think they can’t.
Tate Liverpool’s families curator, Debbie Goldsmith, said: “Sonic Shaper Capers has got something for everyone to enjoy, even if you think you don’t like drawing – it’s noisy, it’s different and it’s fun!”
Sonic Shaper Capers, which is being held in collaboration with The Big Draw, will run throughout half-term this week at the Tate, and is free of charge.
