THE Walker Art Gallery is hoping to inspire the art stars of the future with half- term workshops.
The John Moores Painting Prize workshops are free and will take place today andtomorrow, from 1pm to 4pm.
Laura Johnson, of National Museums Liverpool, said: “We really hope these free fun art activities will encourage a new generation of John Moores artists.”
Children can also take part in the Big Art for Little Artists family gallery, where they can dress up in costume and do craft activities.
Meghan Sandhu, 5, from Aigburth, wore a traditional artist’s smock and beret at the gallery yesterday.
