GHOST tour Shiverpool is taking its spooky tales into Liverpool schools to teach pupils history.
The company’s new Shiverschools programme works with the National Curriculum and is adapted according to the age of the children.
Activities include a mock Victorian trial, with costumed characters re-enacting real courtroom scenes; theatrical re-tellings of history; and a journey through Liverpool’s streets and most famous locations without leaving the classroom.
Shiverpool is celebrating its fifth birthday this month with a number of events for Halloween.
As well as tours of the Hope Street area and St George’s Hall, its guides will resurrect the Auld City tour, through the city’s original seven streets.
A free event for young aspiring witches and wizards takes place at Albert Dock, from 3pm-5pm, on Saturday.
