THE makers of Batman last night revealed the superhero will be swooping into the Echo Arena, Liverpool for the world premiere of an action-packed live show next year.
Fans in Britain will be the first to see the caped crusader and his sidekick Robin on stage at venues across the country.
Batman Live will also feature iconic villains The Joker, The Riddler, Catwoman and The Penguin in an original storyline set in locations including Gotham City made famous by the DC Comics stories.
The show will be at the Echo Arena from September 7 to September 11, 2011. It will also visit Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow, Sheffield, Birmingham, London, Nottingham, Dublin and Belfast.
Tickets go on sale on November 12 priced between £20 and £35.
