YOUTHS threw a brick at a Liverpool couple while they were driving on a motorway.
Paul Ryan and his wife, Pam, were in their Mitsubishi Outlander car on the M6 near Lancaster when their front windscreen was smashed. The attack happened as the couple, from Kirkby, drove into Lancaster at 3pm on Saturday.
Mrs Ryan, 49, spotted a group of youths on the motorway bridge near Junction 34.
Her husband, 52, said: “My wife saw one lift their hand and the next minute glass just exploded all over me.
“It just went bang. I didn’t realise what happened until I looked down.”
Lancashire police are appealing for witnesses.
