Lady Edwina Grosvenor , Dan Snow
Lady Edwina is one of 17 godchildren of the late Princess Diana, and the Grosvenor family still maintain close ties with the Royal Family today.
Her mother, Tally, is godmother to Prince William.
Meanwhile, Dan is the great-great- grandson of British Prime Minister David Lloyd George, and famous to millions of viewers as the BBC One Show’s “history hunter”. His father, political pundit Peter Snow, is a former presenter of Newsnight, but is probably best known for his famous “swingometer” when reporting on General Election nights.
Peter’s cousin, Jon Snow, is the presenter of Channel 4 News.
Oxford-educated historian and documentary maker Dan has rowed three times in the University Boat Race, winning once in 2000.
He is said to get on well with Lady Edwina’s father, the Duke of Westminster, who, thanks to his £7bn property empire, was ranked third in the Sunday Times rich list 2010, after only steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal and Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.
His wealth was the driving force behind the regeneration of the city centre with the building of Liverpool One, undertaken by the Duke’s company Grosvenor.
The newlyweds are expected to jet off on their honeymoon in January.
