X FACTOR finalist Rebecca Ferguson was met by a sea of adoring fans as she returned to Liverpool for her emotional homecoming party.
The talent show star was so overwhelmed she was reduced to tears as she walked along the red carpet before her appearance at the Echo Arena last night.
Rebecca, from Anfield, sang to more than 3,500 supporters when she came back to Merseyside to drum up support ahead of this weekend’s live final.
The singer, who was introduced onto the stage by mentor Cheryl Cole, was thrilled with the response.
