The Apprentice reject Christopher Farrell charged with fraud

A FORMER Merseyside-based contestant in Lord Sugar’s hit show The Apprentice has been charged with fraud, police said.

Mortgage broker Christopher Farrell will appear before magistrates in Plymouth later this month charged with four counts of fraud by false representation.

Farrell, 29, from the Wirral, was originally arrested in August, shortly before the current series of the BBC1 show aired.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman said: “Christopher Farrell, 29, has been charged with four counts of fraud by false representation and bailed to appear on December 22.”

Farrell heard the infamous words “You’re fired” two weeks ago, when he was given the boot by Lord Sugar.

His Apprentice profile said he claims to show no emotion, likes to be pushed, and as a former Royal Marine is not afraid to give people a “kick up the backside”.
