AN EMIRATES jet was at the centre of a recovery operation last night after getting stuck on a grass verge shortly after landing at Birmingham Airport.
The flight from Dubai, which had been diverted to Birmingham because of disruption at London’s Heathrow Airport, made a routine landing but strayed on to the soft verge while taxiing to a terminal building.
A spokesman for Birmingham Airport said: “The recovery team is on site and efforts are being made to move the aircraft.”
