X FACTOR runner up Rebecca Ferguson performed in front of 70,000 rugby fans at Twickenham last night.

The 24-year-old, from Anfield, sang at the charity match between the Harlequins and London Irish team. She shared the bill with X Factor winner Matt Cardle and sang her favourites from the TV contest Satisfaction, Sweet Dreams and at half-time Show me Love.

The mother-of-two told the Daily Post: “It went really well. The crowd were lovely. I was a bit nervous before because I was singing for rugby fans, but it went brilliantly. Show Me Love seemed to be a favourite.

“It’s amazing people are still supporting me. It’s the biggest crowd I’ve performed in front of, outside of the X Factor. I feel very lucky.”

Rebecca plans to perform at Koco, on Concert Steps, on New Year’s Eve.
