A 22-YEAR-OLD man has been killed after his car hit a tree nearWarrington.
Fire crews were called to Cherry Lane, in Lymm, at 7.30pm on Wednesday, to find the man dead on arrival.
An 18-year-old woman was also in the silver Vauxhall Corsa, and had to be cut out by fire crews.
She was taken to Warrington hospital with pelvic fractures and is in a stable condition. Anyone with information should call police on 0845 458 0000.
