Sefton’s library users quizzed over opening hours

A MERSEYSIDE council is asking library users for their views about when they should open.

Sefton Council’s 14 libraries face opening for fewer hours because of budget cuts.

The council’s head of library services Christine Hall said: “Before we go ahead and make those changes, we would like the residents who use the service to have their say.

“We want people to let us know what opening times they would benefit from and how the library service can continue providing the service they need.”

Surveys will be available in all of Sefton’s libraries until Saturday, February 19.
